MTS Broadband
Though a relatively new entrant in a fiercely competitive market, MTS has managed to carve a niche for itself amongst the biggies of the telecom industry in India. MTS, however, is still known more for not as much as its mobile operations as for its internet facilities.
MTS Broadband is a widely recognized wireless internet provider. MTS Broadband is marketed as MTS MBlaze and like Tata Photon, another well known wireless internet provider, it too is premised on USB modems made available on a gradated scale of usage. There is MTS MBlaze Standard and MTS MBlaze Premium; recently, a high speed device named MTS MBlaze Ultra was launched in keeping with the overall market trend of enabling high speed internet at affordable costs.
A common misconception is that MTS data cards are different from its USB modems. This is not true; due to widespread usage of both the terms, many think that MTS data cards are a different service but actually the operations of MTS MBlaze are all premised on MTS data cards. In that sense, it is just as pertinent to talk of MTS data card plans as of MTS Broadband plans because they are one and the same thing.
MTS data card plans, then, start from a base tariff of two rupees per mega byte. MTS data card plans are further made available as postpaid and prepaid so customers can then choose a plan in accordance with their internet requirements keeping the usage charges and their budget in mind. It is, of course, advisable to closely study these various details because often downloading charges after the set limits for a particular plan are higher and more often than not customers then get inflated bills without realizing that they chose a plan not completely suitable for them.
