The 3G prices in India have already dropped and are now available at the cost of 2G services. All the leading Indian Telecom operators have cut down their 3G prices and it has become difficult to find out the cheapest operator among all. There are many operators offering 3G services in India. Although, all are claiming to be the one with lowest price when compared to others but still as a consumer we are in a survey of finding the cheapest one amongst all including BSNL, Aircel, Airtel, Tata Docomo, Idea, Vodafone, etc.. We can compare the different providers in terms of sachet plans, data packs, unbundled usage and many more.
When it comes to sachet plans, all operators are providing this service with little variations and hence finding the cheapest is hard. Currently best sachet plans are available with Aircel and Tata Docomo as they provide 50 MB of data usage at Rs. 8 and Rs. 5, valid for 1 day. On the other hand Idea and Airtel are providing 30 MB of data usage at Rs 7 and Rs 11. Further, among 7 days sachet packs, Aircel offers 200 MB of data at Rs 37, whereas Tata Docomo, Vodafone and Airtel offer 150 MB of data at Rs. 39, Rs. 44 and Rs. 49.
Among data usage plans, Aircel seems to be best one as it provides unlimited data (1 GB at 3.6 Mbps and 126 Kbps thereafter) at Rs. 198 whereas; other operators offer this service at Rs 250 approx. If comparing 2GB packs, then Aircel here too becomes the cheapest as it offers 2GB plan at Rs. 399, whereas, other operators are offering it at Rs 450 approx. And coming to 5 GB of data usage, then Reliance becomes the first as it offers unlimited data for Rs. 750 at a speed of 21 Mbps, whereas Vodafone offeres 5GB at Rs 850 and Aircel offers this at Rs. 697 with a speed of 3.6Mbps.
Now after analyzing different plans of various operators, it can be concluded that Aircel seems to be the cheapest service provider among all followed by Reliance, Tata Docomo, Vodafone and Airtel.
